I volunteered to create a "rusted, beaten down mx5" for Brian. Here are the results:


It's not perfect, but it's pretty close. If you look closely you'll see some seams where the textures stitch on the mesh. It's a real PITA to blend across disjointed patches, but this works.

Based on the amount of rust on the door I would say you enter this like the General Lee.. Nice job!

I need to do a paint job for my caddy. I used to love painting my cars back in the old NR2003/NR4 days. Almost had more fun painting the cars than racing them.... almost!

Unfortunately, the vents in the hood kind of messed up the hood logo.

I might suggest you make those Cadillac and Pirelli logos that are down in the carbon fiber on the sides and front bumper a brighter color. There's a layer for them in the part of the template that is supposed to be kept visible when saving the .tga, color replace logos or something like that.

That is pretty damn sweet! Let me know when I can get the file!
