I might be playing with this and trying to figure out what I can today.. There seemed to be some interest in this.. http://members.iracing.com/jforum/posts/list/7206.pageAnyways, use these links if want to try this out.. I will be back and either edit this post with more info or just add another post... If YOU do try this out please post up anything useful from your experience.. THANKS | |

| It looks pretty awesome. Like most things that rely on voice, you have to be very clear when you speak. I think it could work well, and I hope someone tries it out and posts their thoughts/comments. | |

| OK, F@#ING Finally.. Ok simple to use.. download the glove pie, get the script(I used the road script) get the other file that is the command list.. After you go thru the painstaking adventure they call " setting up voice recognition" it should be smooth sailing.***** *****I believe you can skip this step.. I just got it setup on Scott's computer without this step. Windows 7 64-bit 8:19pm
You will need to change your config file to default as it also says on the site. In order for the script to call up the right functions it is easier to just go the easy route.. And if you still want that functionality back on your steering wheel and use this app then you have a lot of code to change..
You simply open up glove pie and run the script for whichever you chose(road or oval). Now if you want to just try it out and see how it works without the next painful step then delete the first line of code that says "microphone.enabled = joystick0.button1".
Then simply start up a test session so you don't ruin anyone's laps. Read off commands and watch your black box work its magic..
Now if you do want to use the ptt then buckle down.. Someone I am sure could make this easier but this is what I did.. I mapped joystick 0-3 and got int results.. then I read that how you push the button matters... I have not figured out the exact method behind the button press.. But I found that if you pulse the button while talking it seems to work.. Lol, I am sure someone can make this easier, but this is what I got.

| GlovePie is pretty awesome on it's own. I don't use the voice commands, but I do use an xbox 360 controller as my button box using a short script I wrote with it. | |

| I must say I was skeptical with the voice command. I tried it anyway and I love it!! Such a great hands free system. I even got to program a command for the speed limiter. What a great tool.
Awesome job close and Brian!!

| Nice. I'll definitely have to give it a closer look. Does it work without using PTT or something? Then can still use PTT for voice chat in TS3 and sim chat? | |
