VSRA SEASON 6 Poll?

The time has come to pick what we will run next season. I have compiled a list of options that other members have suggested in passing. Like always we may have a few polls to narrow down the selection. Pick your most favored series.

Option 1:
Kia Optima - New car that was released. Front wheel drive with moderate horsepower.

Option 2:
Riley Prototype - Single make series running the Riley

Option 3:
Corvette - Single make series running the Corvette

Option 4:
HPD ARX - Single make series running the HPD

Option 5:
Riley vs Vette - Multi car series with the Vette and the Riley. Both cars will run as one class. We did some extensive tests and will continue to do so. By adding weight to the Riley we were able to make both cars run similar lap times and very competitive at Road Atlanta. I believe we can make this series work out well. (Further testing will be done and if not signed off by officials we will run something else.)

Option 6:
Lotus 79 - Single make series running the Lotus 79.

Please feel free to express why you voted something as your response might help someone else make a decision.

I voted Option 5 because I think a Multi car series will help shake things up a bit. Driven both cars personally they are both loads of fun. The corvette is a rocket down the straight but the Riley eats it up on grip. Should make for some interesting races. I think its time we push the envelope in the VSRA.

I voted Option 5, but my second would be HPD

And for clarification, Option 5 would be a single points configuration, not by class, correct?

Correct... We will probably just notate rank by each car ,however total points will be in one class..

I didn't even know I owned the Riley! I am up for anything having not raced at all last season.

My setups are always available. ..just ask.

Matthew was thinking maybe the HDP and Prototype would make a good match. He was going to do some testing this weekend I think. Adding weight to the HDP. Might be a better match then the vette and prototype seeing both cars are grip cars.
