Your right, John does look kind of llike Yoda!! Well just gotta start small.. Work on the Miata and remember that to go fast you first have to go slow. Slow is fast!! Learn the limits of the car.. drive within those limits... Learn the track and bammo your winning the race!!

I will help you if you want it. Have many things that I learned over the years that I will be glad to share with you.

Thanks Scotty,

My issue right now is staying on my line and the not spinning out in the corners. Well and the other issue is freaking out when a car is near me trying to stay out of ppls way so i wont wreck em but learn at the same time. Maybe that's where im going wrong! What a Face

Just remember to hold your line. Let them pass you. You are right to let the faster cars go by. But just hold your line.. They are responsible to make the pass. Not you. Youll find that in lower level rooms a lot of times the passer can't execute a proper pass. Just be patient with them. They are learning too!

After a faster person passes you try to get behind them and see what line they take through corners. Try to see where they brake. Once again as soon as you can get the "I gotta go faster" out of your head you'll be golden. Slow it down and really learn the nuances of the track and in no time you'll be whipping it around the corner.

As far as losing it into corners... Brake early and brake less.... the less amount of inputs you can put into the car whether its brakes, steering input, and even just hammering the throttle the smoother you will become.. and smooth equals safe and fast!!

All in all keep practicing..See ya soon!!
