I have been hooked on sim racing since I could drop $.25 into Pole Position.
Owned the Papy Indy 500 sim as well as their CART and NASCAR titles that followed. Really enjoyed GP2 and RallyChampionship also. Have rFactor, GTL, and Race'07 but the physics models all felt weak compared to NASCAR2003, so I finally found my way to iRacing.
Have a slew of HO scale slot car stuff and also ran a lot of 1/10 scale RC road races (as well as some 1/10 scale buggy and dirt oval) here in Florida.
Essentially, I dig the sport of racing and I enjoy its form as much as its function. That means I am likely to spend equal amounts of time painting a skin or editing camera files as I would on track time.
